Why did this game fail?
>Mii
miis are not compelling characters on their own and have no other ways to draw in appeal
>no cool factor
>no cute factor
>no porn factor
you might as well make a game with characters off of discount greeting cards

One thing bad is that you can't control your party members. Also you automatically walk through dungeons.

As strange as it is to say about a game designed to be a more casual RPG experience, it's just too niche. I personally enjoy weird Mii fuckery and especially something with a bit more content than Tomo life but it's not for everyone, or really something that's going to do too well outside of Japan. Most people would probably rather watch a streamer like Vinny play it anyway, which is fine since it's one of those games that lends itself well to streaming.
I think it's just a bit too thin on content for RPG fans and probably just too out of the casual gamer's comfort zone.
As much as I hate to say it, this would probably do pretty decent on mobile devices for a few weeks.

The 3DS is Nintendo's current dumping ground.
>Hey Pikmin
>Miitopia
I wonder what's next to hit yellow on Meta?
mii games are miim games, you need one of a few very specific mindsets to enjoy them
personally like this one more than TL for the most part but there isn't quite enough of a variance in its shitposting and it would be better with more control
