Is there a bigger video game buzzword than "content"?

>buzzword
If any new game has less content than Baldur's Gate 2 it's beneath the notice of a true patrician such as myself.
>>385455509
that's even a buzzword in media now. "Content creators" has to be the most broad description I've ever seen. What the fuck is a content creator? It literally means the creation of ANYTHING so when I'm taking a shit am I now a content creator?

Content is contextual to what's containing it, so it depends on where you're taking your shit. If it's in the toilet, no, unless you're in the toilet business or hobby.
If you take your shit and go through the trouble of putting it in a game though, then yeah, technically you would be a "content creator." It's just the content you've created is literally shit.

No
I can't begin to describe how much its overused as a term right now.
If literally any game fails to impress someone it's immediately "no content" or "cut content" or even "not enough content to justify the price of X dollars"

>early access
>survival
>"open world" games where most areas can't be entered until you advance the plot or obtain key items (e.g. Ocarina of Time)
>"non-linear" gameplay that forces you along rails with no ability to sequence break (e.g. Metroid II)
>calling an action-adventure game an RPG (e.g. Zelda)
Biggest lies in the industry.

>calling a roguelikelike a roguelike

What is /v/'s definition of RPG. Also please give some examples of actual RPG games.

>What is /v/'s definition of RPG
/v/ is not one person. And it's irrelevant what anyone "thinks" an RPG is. The genre is objectively defined by its inclusion of traditional (tabletop) RPG elements, like experience levels and hit points.
The only RPG in the Zelda series is Zelda II. The others are strictly action-adventure games.
