Situation Commands literally just look like refinement of the Situation Specials from KH1FM HD, where they replaced all the shit like Ragnarok etc from being selectable in menu to being entirely situational based on your position and enemy position and activated with Triangle.

the only way they could limit spamming magic and shit is like what they did in 0.2 of limiting how many items you can use in a single fight, which I find to be really stupid as it doesn't allow the player to make mistakes at all on harder difficulties and restricts them from using all they have in a fight

it's not just RCs, there are also drives, summons, and limits which can be used effectively given the situation and your resources
it looks like everything is related to situation commands as you only have these 4 commands so the game wants you to spam until you get all your triangle abilities and just use them all in one go, you don't have to think about these things so that to me seems boring
