I'd choose ARMS.
Splatoon 2 having content locked behind waiting times and other restrictions to your play options for no good reason ruin the experience for me.

I did. Splatoon 2. I want ARMS when it's cheaper. Splatoon has loads of content, has decent depth, really looks nice and was more fun than I ever expected.

I like both games, but I'd go with Splatoon because it has more content and unlocking weapons in it feels more rewarding than in ARMS.

I did only buy one, and it was splatoon 2. I played both during their demo events and ARMS was boring. Splatoon is fucking great and I'm loving it.

I have both. Arms is good but it's very light on content.
Splatoon 2 is the better choice.

Recently got both. Currently like them both a lot. Splatoons controls can be a little frustrating at times. It might just take some time getting used to, though. I've still had a lot of fun with it so far, though. Arms was pretty fun right from the start, even though I know I'd get my ass handed to me online

Both are great. If you have someone there to play with you, get ARMS. Otherwise Splatoon 2.

Have ARMS, and have played all the Splatoon 2 demo events. I prefer ARMS by a mile.
