I consider Metroid my favourite series and I was planning on buying SR and this weird amiibo news isn't changing that, but I am a bit disappointed. I already have the amiibos save for the ones that aren't out yet but this is really stuff that shouldn't be behind a paywall. I could understand if you could unlock it normally by playing and the amiibos just allowed you to skip that, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
