Risky's Revenge is pretty underrated though. I don't know if I'd put it above HGH or PC, but as far as Metroidvania style goes, it beats out those two as well as the original for having the most elaborate overworld. Also, this top tier song.

Why does everyone hate jak 2 though? Is it because it's edgy? It's the first one i played so i'm kind of fond of it even if i remember it had some real bullshit difficulty spikes and jak 3 was more enjoyable and had overall more content if i'm not wrong. Jak and dexter is the last one i played and i like it but honestly it kind of feels like a whole different game in a way and don't feel like comparing it directly to the other 2.

Not sure what you're talking about. The galaxies in 2 were overall more fun than those in 1. The only thing I can think of that sucks is that they replaced the Space Waifu with an obese purple Luma, but even then she appears after the final boss.

It might be because i was a kid but there was nothing easy in spinning and gunning without any lock on mode or side stepping a la ratchet and clank with swarming enemies. Plus i wasn't giving merit on that, i legit got stuck and raged at certain sections with long tracts void of checkpoints and bullshit enemies. I also hated the parts with the car going through that tube thing in jak 3.
