it's the PAL-only, original release version of SH2, that came with the bonus disc full of extra content (The "Making Of" video, trailers, "photo" gallery, a sticker-style print picture, some French SH-themed horror house ride promo video...).

I sometimes forget that poor Americans didn't get this version and thus may have never seen the Making Of SH2 video either. Fortunately, it's on Youtube these days.

That couldn't be further from the truth.
Many players and industry veterans worship SH2 for being such a groundbreaking, mature gaming experience, on top of being a great survival horror game. And I know tons of people who played it for the first time at their mid-20s, in very recent years.
