Maybe there's still a chance they'll patch in the knife from MGO, I would honestly love to have shit like the plush snare in the base game. Do any other anons still actively play MGSV? Yeah, it was disappointing but it's still the most fun I've had this generation aside from Bloodborne and Zelda. FOBs and MGO were always shit, though.

This game single handedly ruined vidya for me. The magic was gone afterwards.

Incase no one caught it:

This is the first grade 12 equipment. Which means there's going to be weapon and armor/stealth upgrades for at least 12, but probably up to 15.

Replayed part of PW with a friend recently and it reminded me how fucking stupid the plot was. A part of me is glad that MGS V had less plot because it had less plot to ruin. However, I wasn't invested in the series at the time of the trailers so it didn't hit me as hard.

I've been playing for a while and I've just been using the default pistol, default rifle and default sniper the entire time. I feel I really have to go out of my way to use some of the gadgets.
The only useful one I've found is throwing the decoys at the heavily armored dudes and deploying them to stun them. Am I doing something wrong?

You mean Zadornov? Ocelot gives it to Snake at the start of the game, after they fled Cyprus. Zadaornov was in the KGB, Ocelot is undercover in the KGB, so he probably had access to the same tech. How do brainlets like you manage to breathe? The yellow research is online, which means it ticks off even when you aren't playing the game. The ingame tooltips tell you this, and you'd have noticed if you bothered to check the time between play sessions.

Nothing in the base game requires shit tons of materials, only the online research, and for that, you're supposed to get your materials through FOB. There is very little point in developing beyond rank-5 if you don't care about FOB so stop fucking complaining and either go online or don't sweat online oriented research.

I'm getting a little tired of using the same weapons because the pistol is the only thing that puts them to sleep until you get the silenced sniper rifle at later levels.

I'm a bit peeved at how the AI acts in this game, either they're dumb as shit, or they'll see you through walls.
