Gaming is the go-to hobby when you have no other plans or you're not blowing dosh over the weekend. Seriously - I realized I was dangerously close to living paycheck to paycheck and I'd shut out for a few weekends and hop on xbox live with the guys. The tough part is not buying new games at the $60/40 pricetags.

I play video games instead of watch TV

every generation has their own form of entertainment. As long as you're not exceeding gameplay of four or more hours daily, then it's probably not going to interfere with your day to day life.
