I played mgo 2 before and got head shotted the INSTANT my head popped out. So quick that I thought it wasn't even humanely possible. Is that normal? Is the skill level of some players so high that it could make the game unenjoyable to newbies? or possibly hackers with cfw or something?

I wan't to give it another try but also never played the first MGO and was wondering if more experience players could tell me which one I should jump into?

MGO2 is a high skill floor, low skill ceiling game, so yeah that's a totally normal experience for new players. There are loads of people who never got to try out MGO2 who are hopping on the OFW release so now is the best time to get into it.

Watch these, they're good for getting your feet in the door. The rest is really just mechanics and muscle memory you have to pick up over time and some stuff you'll get by watching other people do it.

Just make sure you stick to game modes like TDM until you feel comfortable enough with the game. People don't like new/bad players joining rooms hosting more difficult modes, TSNE especially.
