Maldron the asshole is the best npc invader in any souls game.
DS1 > DS2 > DS3
DS2 DLCs > DS1 DLC > DS3 DLCs
Barbara and Meryu are hot.

I don't get why so many people insist the DS2 dlc's are ok. They have all the same problems of the base game, with a slightly improved layout.

gank fights are fine in dark souls 2.
you have alot more tools to deal with it and the way dark souls 2 plays also helps alot.
i think it's bad and affects the game negatively but gank fights in dark souls 2 are easy and fine to deal with
i'm talking about the reach of your attacks, iframes, slower enemies with extremely simple animations.
dark souls 2 might have the worst combat in the series, but it allows you to handle more enemies than other titles

It had nice graphics and captured the Star Wars aesthetic nicely. The game-play was also very nice in my opinion, I just wish the game had more substance to it and that it's DLC wasn't so horrible unbalanced.

It's inferior, but it's more smooth in my opinion. I'm glad they're introducing the class system back into the 2nd one, game just didn't feel right without it. Plus, the free DLC is a nice touch. Shame it's just a gimmick by EA because they figured out another strategy to make money after the release.

It's not that it's hard dealing with a big group of enemies, it's that it's tedious and boring. Instead of an interesting engagement it always turns into walking slowly backwards while waiting for an opening to poke one of them for 5 damage and repeat.

Most enemies in the game die in 2-3 hits when you used a weapon you actually have the stat requirements for, but I guess you're too awful to have figured that out.
Fact of the matter is, most people who whine about DaS2 whine about it because they can't adapt to a new game. They want the same-old shit from DaS1 or the easy-mode of DaS3.

Dark souls 3 was fucking abysmal. Why the fuck do I need to spend my souls shilling vitality, or everything one shots me? Why is every area so desaturated of color? Why are the enemies bland? Why are the NPCs throwback Thursdays? Why does the shitty mana system obsolete almost all the spells in the game? Why is the pvp so fucking shit?
Miyazaki had 4 other games, all with working system that he could have pulled from, except he decided "fuck everything, I'll get paid either way and I don't give a shit about the Souls line anymore, so do fuckall to the game and don't bother me"

DS2 has its buggers (most active pvp yet the only game with no solid eye orb, goddam), but even as an older entry in the series it continues to be an enjoyable experience. DS3 is without a doubt the crippled trans-queer hated child of the lot. The biggest difference between the two is variety: 2 has so much, and it is all highly viable, even in a CoC playthrough. DS3 has so little variety, most of the weapons are rubbish and the spells are piss piddling shit (I think DS3 actually has less magic than 2). The only people who say with a straight face that DS3 is anywhere near as good as 2 are desperately clinging to their old hatred, unable to admit that the final installment in the series is objectively the worst.

Its engine is somewhat fun and all, but the level design and writing/story is shallow and predictable. Learn the attack patterns, stagger your attacks, and it's still just a dive/attack game. It's just more fluid feeling than DS1, more like BB.
