How does no one die from getting shot in this game?

People don't die when they are killed.

Yakuza makes no sense

Cutscene guns are real, gameplay guns are fake. DMC does the same thing with Dante's power level.

Same reason there is a guy every 10 feet waiting to go "hey you" and start a fight with you. I feel sorry for the Yakuza sometimes, they get people starting fights with them as they try to get their shopping done or a bite to eat.
