Played the first (Taken King version, a year after TK's release) on PS4 for about a month, it was really slow, dull and most of the weapons were not fun to use. I doubt they'll have made the PC version any faster, but mouse aiming will hopefully make it feel less shit. The acceleration and aim assist on console was fucking awful.

The response from the console beta players didn't sound positive. Like it's just a Destiny expansion pack and the expansion was titled "Destiny: 2".

If PC owners buy this trash and it sells well I'm going to be sad.

The weapons are much more streamlined.
Not that the combat on borderlands is fun tho. Everything is super bullet spongey and many of the cool combos and glitches got removed so you buy their filthy golden keys.

Part MMO in that you have dungeons, quests, raids, a social area. The largest amount of people in playable areas, outside the social space, is like 16 unless they raised it. There are different skills. 3 classes, each with 2 subclasses. Each subclass is based on a different element. Each subclass has a unique super, and the game has a decent amount of different grenade and melee abilities which varies from unique abilities to archetype stuff like "does constant damage in AOE" which several subclasses use. Now there is another button to press which is a unique skill for each class not subclass.
So while Borderlands had 1 button, this game has 4 buttons and another subclass for another set of unique skills.

I only have that 600+, i liked how the game controlled for the most part. despite the sensitivity being super low, even at the highest. then i went off to play other games and when i came back the fov was so bad it gave me a headache. Like I like the idea of an mmo type fps, but it really slacked on the loot and gun variations and now the new one will be worse. I liked the game at face value and the more i dug deep, the more i hated it.

There are elemental guns. Arc, Void, Solar same as the subclass elements. Alot of enemies has shields, and Arc weapon/abilities are MUCH better against Arc shields and the same for the others. I do not believe it matters in PVP, like using Arc weapons versus someone in an Arc subclass.

So the enemy shields work just like shields for characters, or Halo or whatever game. If you burn the shield then you damage the actual enemy, but if you don't deal constant damage the shield regens. So if your using Arc weapons on a Solar shield, it will take a bit compared to a Solar weapon just tearing the shield off really fast. It matters alot on bosses or yellow-health enemies which are basically elite units.
