Got into OFW beta and it's really simple you don't even need a tutorial.
>have FAT32 external HDD or USB stick
>extract package
>copy PS3 directory over to USB memory
>connect USB to PS3 and using Backup and restore tool restore the back up

You'll lose all the data, except for account infos, so at very least copy saves on USB or make additional backup just in case. Be aware that making a backup takes time.

did you read the OP?
they had an CFW server up and running for some time but they found out that if you used a custom backup you could restore the data from MGO with a disk that had it but lost the feature on a update
basically you're reverting the update and playing on a custom master server
also everything is arealdy unlocked so no grinding

Be aware that while you can restore the backup and install the game, you can't play yet, since account creation is not up yet.

I hope they make it available to emulate the PS3's OS alone in RPCS3. This way we could potentially enjoy limited piracy on 4.81 OFW PS3s without having to own CFW console.
