Used to be /v/ introduced me to lots of different games that otherwise might have been off my radar. Ace of Spades, for example. But the threads and the communities they gathered slowly disappeared. Some moved to /vg/ and died there. Others kept getting deleted for "advertising". So now we only have threads discussing the major stuff .
