Is gothic actually good or just a meme? I like rpgs.

I recently beat the first game and am currently on Chapter 2 in the second game. It's been really fun.

still the best rpg i ever played. im in the middle of yet another gothic 2 playthrough at the moment and genuinely enjoy it more than i did witcher 3 (which was the last other RPG i played)

shares a lot with witcher except it does it right. Better world design, more choices for your character than just being a witcher, combat is tactical rather than a fluid batman clone, quests feel just as deep, maybe deeper. Barely any HUD (good thing). The tombraider climbing adds a lot as well.
