It's a good thing they made you The Reader in Pyre. It's nice that they listen to player feedback about Transistor being unrelated due to having to play as a female pop singer.

I gave my gf pyre to play because it looks like a gf game. At the beginning we were both like "yeah you get to play as a girl by default!" she was happy. I was fine with it.

Then we got to the combatsketball. :(

She's like the exact intended audience of the game and it instantly drove her away. They can fix the game, they need to implement a turn based combat option and do a quick rebalance of the fights for that. Shouldn't be hard because there aren't a lot of fights right?
