I was watching my little brother play his first match on release day and it literally just dropped him mid-game. Nothing else in the house lost connection, the Switch just popped up with an error message saying it had a problem with the network connection. Then he got that message.

He hasn't had a problem since, I just thought it was pretty funny because I had seen the screenshot on /v/ earlier in the day.
