They have many, right now it's Nathan Drake or Ratchet and Clank. It has been in the past Kratos, Sackboy, Sly Cooper, Cole McGrath/Delsin, Jak and Daxter, Crash, the Chimera, and the Helghast. It just depends what first party dev most recently released a game and if any of those are in said game.

You could argue Kratos, Nathan Drake or Sackboy, but none of them have that "it" factor that really makes a mascot character.

It's a real shame because in the 90s they had a stacked deck of recognisable characters; Crash (though I guess he's technically back now), Spyro, Sir Daniel Fortesque, arguably Cloud and Lara Croft too. None were as big as Mario (though Lara and Crash in particular were really big), but they were all related to distinguished series and relatable to the PS brand as well.

And not just back then but during the PS2 era too they had Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and so on. Sony has had multiple potential mascots but they've more or less dropped all of them for whatever reason.

Because Sony wants to appeal to wider audiences, by following trends, which then leads to blander characters and games, because they're more about appealing to "everyone", rather than building up a proper identity or focus on a specifit group, which is what a title like Gravity Rush does, making it more unique, but lesser known.
