You already have dozens of games

where's muh Wheel of Time games?
>>
I just want an RPG like this:
>you aren't part of some prophecy
>you're just some regular dude
>start out super weak
>have to work hard and do many quests just to become as good as any adventurer
>thus your skill feels more like something you worked for and achieved rather than "congrats, you're a superhuman capable of insane feats with world shattering powers"
>that way when you kill the BBEG it's not "The prophesied hero did what everyone expected"
>but rather just some random veteran/farmer's son/orphan/hermit/whatever the fuck trained to become an adventurer and burned his name into the history books

Would be so much more satisfying tbqh.

That's what I want, your some weak skinny guy when yours skills are at level one you shouldn't be able to beat an Imperial guard with your bare hands and steal his equipment.
You should do things to raise your strength, climbing walls, chopping trees or wood, mining stuff like that would get you bigger and stronger, the more you use a weapon the better you get with it, but your sword type shouldn't determine the strength (iron does almost no damage dremora does a lot) a sword is a sword, it will slash and hurt someone, but maybe a higher grade would have more durability and be lighter and easier to use?
The progress you make should be personal, you get stronger, faster, smarter whatever it is not just wow I'm level one and found the best weapon and can kill everyone
>>
>>385320681
that was just an example of how maps in medieval games should portrayed not that gps satellite imagery from The Witcher and Skyrim. i myself hate Tolkien knockoff which's the majority of rpg games ever released.

No games is as customizable, moddable than Minecraft itself. Garry's mod is a close one, but Minecraft is something completely different in terms of modding- you can change everything and add everything. That's what makes it a great games.

All you're proven is that the game is about an inch deep and a mile wide, and that it caters to the lowest common denominator, just like every other open world shovelware they keep churning out.

Shadows of Mordor would probably be a 11/10 game if your character literally couldn't make a physical impact on the world.
If the entire game was about influencing interpersonal relationships between the AI, maybe add another faction or two and have some different endings it would be pretty damn GOAT.

Instead it's a cool idea that will never go anywhere because its wasted on BAMHAM MASH X TO AUSOME OPEN WURLD EPOC STURIES WHERE YOU KILL SAURON

>No games is as customizable
>games is
>is as customizable, moddable than Minecraft itself
>is (...) than
>Minecraft is something completely different in terms of modding-
>modding-
>That's what makes it a great games.
>a great games

One or two fuck ups is ok, but damn.

Your claim that minecraft is the most modifiable:
>www.minecraftmods.com has 392 mods total
>meanwhile skyrim on the nexus has 53, 501 mods

Lot's of games on nexus blow minecraft out of the water

Your claim that it is a good game:

Dwarf fortress is better.

> You have some grammar error so it means you're wrong
I'm a white flag, sorry about that.

You know there's more mods site than minecraftmods.com right? And that there is wayy more mods than 392 mods in minecraft, just lookin' at the forum already blows your theory out of the water. Not only that, but the mods of minecraft are much more game-changing than skyrim can ever hopes: that's what i was talking about. you can change the whole core of minecraft. Whereas in skyrim you can add, what.. Quest, Weapon, and change some element to be more of a survival game, whereas in minecraft, you can do anything, even in the base game with the help of the command block which gives you access to basically the source code of the game, you can do amazing and great thing. No other games allow you such depth of customization. Quality of mods in minecraft, their content are amazing. How many mods are Aether 2/1 tier of content in Skyrim? I don't know that much. Twilight forest tier of content? Industrialcraft game-changers? Turtlemod? Buildcraft? Spacecraft? Is there anything, that adds as much content and change the game as much as those mods in skyrim? I'll tell you, there's not much of them in skyrim, but they exist, with less depth.

I'm not a skyrim haters or anything, but minecraft modding is way more open and deep than skyrim. Also, it's easier for modders to mod in minecraft than using the GECK version of skyrim, the engine of which is very buggy and they have to employ so much workaround to simple thing.

if someone makes a map then most of those -'s could be +'s with little argument or mods: town/dungeon stuff, world map, party system (aka not having a party system)
cool mysteries could be doable

truly out of the question without mods: varied enemies, rope arrows

Its so cool how the mountains on the western edge, ered luin, are the only remnant of the land that the entire first age took place in.
Theres so much material there involving the elves and morgoth that it makes me mad how developers make a medicore and non canon story. Fuck me we'll never get a game that takes place in Beleriand
