That being said, it needs a lot of help. Optimization is a mess. Sometimes I get 60 FPS a whole match, sometimes I get a 40 FPS stutter fest a whole match. Nu-fun is the fun you have with meme games like Goat Simulator, I Am Bread, etc. Games that were specifically made for people to scream about like a child to their millions of YouTube and Twitch subscribers so they all go buy it.
You could say I just described PUBG given its popularity on Twitch and YouTube and the natural habit of streamers to always act like a manchild, but I believe more that it's just a side effect in PUBG's case and the game is actually made to have real fun, especially with friends. Of course the developers are still going to embrace the streaming. But still, it's more like LoL and CS:GO. I don't play those games, but they're not meme games and real fun can be had with them even though they're popular on Twitch.

The game is fun and enjoyable because its simple and too the point. You join a lobby of 100 people solo or up to a squad of 4 with the possibility of friends, jump out of a plane, and try to survive for up to 45 minutes by scavenging for gear. The anticipation of finding that sweet gun or the thrill of the next second being your last keeps you very much invested in the game. The fact that some of you are arguing that people are not actually having fun or "Nu-Fun" simply bewilders me. Play what the fuck you enjoy.
