I wish she wasn't so god damn mediocre in Smash. She fills out a lot of traits I like, angelic goddess, magic user, long hair etc. And yet she feels kinda crummy. I still played her plenty, it just irks me that she sucks. Her tilts are infuriatingly bad.

But everyone else doesn't. That and given how time consuming they are to unlock and to set up, most tournaments don't allow them. It really hurts her because her customs actually could have made her a better character, but unfortunately she was stuck with the worst set for her default.

Yeah, those were really fun to use in customs. When I played with my friend we used custom moves with no stat changers, so it was just the specials. She felt real good. Did fun stuff like Super Speed into Rocket Jump Meteor smash.

Smash for Switch is the perfect opportunity to fix the custom moves issue by having them all unlocked by default (as well as give the DLC characters some) and introduce a "moves only" custom option. Even better, they could pull a Splatoon 2 and let you save your configuration to an amiibo to load with a tap of the NFC reader regardless of whose console it is. That would be way more useful than in Splatoon where everyone would need their own Switch anyway.

I'd be so happy if that happened. Custom moves were a pretty cool idea that was sadly ruined with some very bad decisions, so to see them come back in an actual user friendly way would be fantastic.
