Who knows, maybe they could be in and are just being saved for future reveals. I was mostly joking that UNIB is honestly the one here that's actually out of place. Mori's been talking about RWBY and teasing shit about it, and its characters and weapons don't even look at all out of place next to Blazblue's, so it really does "fit" to some extent. UNIB sticks out a lot with its non-Arcsys made sprites and didn't really have any buildup to this reveal at all. It genuinely came out of nowhere, especially since it's insignificant enough that not having it in here would really not change much for these threads, so there's hardly a reason to even put it up front and center with the other three like that.

It kinda is. Plus since Blazblue as a series is pretty much finished, it might be a good way of showcasing a bunch of properties and licenses to gauge fan reactions to see where they go from here.

The Dragonball Fighter seems to really have put them on the map, so teasing other big properties seems like a no-brainer and a crossover game is a good platform to do it on.

Is it? There's been talk for ages of a RWBY game from ArcSys. The sprites, functions and balancing used in this game could have come from that project or these characters are being made fresh for this game to gauge the public interest of such a project, potentially leading into a future project which they've already got a good headstart. And if not, then hey, they've just made 1+ character(s) for a crossover game they're already making, of which uses preexisting assets to reduce costs and drum up hype.
