I stopped playing the game about a month ago. It's partially due to the meta but I'd say it's mainly due to other people I have to play with. Sometimes I get in to games where everyone is cheery and just want to have fun and try to win. Other games I get elitists who think they can win the game alone and then blame everyone else.

The game itself is fine and really enjoyable but at the end of the day it's a team game and there's only so much you can do to carry a team which means if you want to win you either take a spin on the playerbase lottery or you get some good friends to play with.

This may seem counter-productive, but trust me it works. Mute the chat, but don't turn off voice chat, there are some people who still do call outs and that's really helpful, only turn it off when people are already shit flinging.
