I tend to like the "gentle giants" type of character. Generally the lawful good types, mostly because I think they're really refreshing. They do good for goodness sake, and they can get very passionate about it.

I usually go for Battlemages or Spellswords. Jack of all trades kind of characters. I just like having tons of options and adaptability even if that causes me to be suboptimal.

Strange guys

The only way I can really describe my playstyle (and thus the kind of classes/characters I pick) is aggressive defense. If it's a team game, I tend to gear towards offense characters. Things that let me brutally murder the fuck out of the opposing, especially if it's stylish. jumping into the fray and killing like 2 or 3 or more people despite their best efforts to kill me and being the only one standing is fucking great. But it's always done with the intent of allowing my team to main a defensive.

Similarly, in 1v1 games like fighting games and CCGs and stuff I love playing an aggressive defense or control. I love locking people down with projectiles and having answers for every attempt at offense while being ready to unleash the pain myself

As far as aesthetic, most fistfighters, magic users, explosives users, and revolver/hand cannon users are my jam.

I always wanted a literal "cast fist" character. Like, a super buff-ass wizard that fights with his fist and grapples and stuff, but also magic. Like, he suplexes you and then you get hit by a bolt of lightning. Or he encases his hand in ice and just punches you in the fucking face.
