Bone Golem. Collect bones. Improve skeleton. Become horrible agglomeration of a dozen mythical species' bones and eat Paladins.

I'm sure game devs would love to test their skill and creativity by making non humanoid races but that brings a lot of issues with it. PVP balance, mount access, movement speed, armor sets etc.

You can't add a centaur race to an mmo and have them moving at the same speed of a humanoid it'll look weird and clunky, nor can you have humanoids running around at the speed of a galloping horse that would make no sense.

Have it like Heroes & Empires in WC3 or COTRPG. You can either be a freelancer hero wandering the world, or build up a town and have whatever race of people behind you. You can allow for certain ones to come in or have it so that they're banned. Towns like undead ones would have multiple kinds of undead.
