Fucking hell, these people are retarded, and that is coming from a fellow miner. The GTX 970 is about 75% as effective as a RX 580 at Ethereum mining and they go for like $200 on ebay. That guy is probably never going to see a return on investment from that purchase, especially since Ethereum mining is getting harder and harder due to intentional difficulty spikes and mining alltogether coming to and end around the beginning of November, then everyone will switch to Zcash mining which is slightly more efficient on Nvidia cards.

Mining can be a profitable venture but these people are getting all kinds of crazy ideas in their heads about what kind of money they are going to make in the long run.
