Posted seconds apart, I seriously doubt it. Just because someone disagrees doesn't make it some conspiracy. This game is mainly driven by nostalgia, in terms of game design, it doesn't really do anything that special. Maybe for the time, and it gets props for that, but op said "of all time".

What games have the MOST content that I can play forever?

Only sandbox rougelikes like dwarf fortress, cataclysm:DDA and Elona have the depth in contents and mechanics that I need for an ideal desert island game.
