Because it's clear from his workflow that he never intends to finish the game and just milk Patreon forever. Any designer who has ever finished anything will tell you to iron out the core gameplay first and then add features as time permits. But Yanderedev will endlessly bloat his project and add new features that will never be finished on top of the core game loop that will never be finished. On top of that he has directly stated that he puts off larger, more time consuming work in favor of inconsequential easter eggs because he wants to be able to show his Patreon backers something being made every week. To anyone who has ever organized a project it's clear that YandereSim actually gets FARTHER from release every damn day.
