It's not that modded looks super good, it's that vanilla looks cancer inducing and modded makes it tolerable.

everyone knows the graphics and animations are garbage
the amount of (non graphical) mods add appeal
movement is weird too sometimes

I have been helping anons out with FNV issues and bugs since the game came out, as well as on the Nexus, and this is literally the first time I hear of this.

it seems to be called the "sliding bug" from all the reading I've done, seems pretty common it seems too

it happens when you move your mouse AT ALL when you take fingers off the movement keys, you dont slide if you mouse is still so who knows what the fuck that means

nah, ENB is vomit inducing in motion, especially with the forced ambient occlusion and shadows

best you can do is make some lightweight tonemapping to make the colors more natural and get rid of the piss filter

All inputs feel lagged in Bethesda games. If I try to holster or unholster a weapon it takes forever to even start the motion. Moving is sluggish and stppping/starting takes a second.

You don't have to use AO or Shadows, and if you don't you still have the net gain of better colors, proper bloom and HDR, etc.

All the complaints I ever see from ENB are "I DON'T LIKE FEATURE" which you can just turn off and keep the rest. Which will still beat vanilla by miles, especially if paired with a good weather mod like RWL.

Do you really mean better? Because if you're going the way of objectively better, than even nostalgia fags know you're wrong. More control, not corridors, variety, etc. There's a difference between best and favorite.

Bethesda is a decent game company.

The only good people at Blizzard right now is the Heroes of the Storm team.

The Original Fallout games are good storywise, but fucking boring gameplay wise.

I had never heard of this in the six years the game's been out. Funny how there's always something new that's wrong with these buggy ass games.

Are there any mods that make the game playable again for someone that has played it to death? Want to feel like I'm playing it again for the first time.

It does not for FNV and F3, support is iffy and Crosire has said that he won't bother to fix ReShade for Fallout when ENB already exists though.

The biggest performance drains in ENB are AO, Shadows and DOF. All of which you can turn off for a basically performance impactless ENB preset.

Mass Effect 2 is the worst in the original trilogy.

I think Mass Effect 1 is the worst in the series, still a good game but it was a janky ass RPG when it came out and it felt half finished, people were just excited to have a scifi rpg so they have it a pass and the story was solid enough.

What do you mean? I used ReShade for NV and it worked perfectly fine? Didn't try any of the more "advanced" features but those never look good anyway.

None of the advanced features work in FNV/F3 with reshade, anything that requires the usage of the depthbuffer doesn't work.
In which case ReShade is literally a glorified SweetFX injector (it's literally the same shader code). You're better off using ENB that allows actual control of in-engine values for lighting, sky, colors, etc. Instead of only postprocessing SweetFX.
