I have barely played that game and I got to gold nova 3 by just using basic strategy and not dying

if you have any semblance of how to play situations correctly it's not hard at all. It's just making good choices. There are objectively correct ways to play things out. You just play OBJECTIVE GAMING 100% of the time (same as dota).

As far as aiming, just standing still and crouching as your shots fire up gives you like 7/8 good shots on an AK without moving your mouse at all.

How are you stuck in Silver, OP? I quit for 9 months, came back and it put me in Silver 2. That was a week ago, I'm in Gold Nova 1 already, and making my way to MG1 soon enough. Tell me what you're doing wrong and I can help desu

How can you be in anything but AT LEAST the top 25% of any ranked games.
You don't need 160 IQ to get there, just watching a few videos is enough.
I never played a RTS in my life. I looked up some beginners videos for sc2, how to get your macro going, how all the units works and how to optimize your controls.
I played a few coop games as Jimmy up to brutal and just did mass marine and right clicked everything to death.
Now goes ranked and guess what. I'm low diamond just by being able to one-trick pony Terran and having higher APM and decisions making than my opponent.
Same with CS. Practice 3 hours on HSDM servers. Learn 3 smokes on mirage and get to eagle+ ez.
MOBASHIT. Pick ADC, auto-attack based characters and learn stutter stepping while doing your shit leveling games. Bam, easy plat/diamond.

I'm not a genius. I'm barely above average so while it might not exactly the same for you I'm 100% convinced that, you, the average /v/ermin can get to the top 25% of any competitive game ever.
