Play them all, I'm serious. Everyone will tell you to play the later ones because they imporved the gameplay and I agree but at the same time they would take away some really fun feartures. Things like characters and npc's having up to 6 or 8(can't remember which) different decks, day and night, time in general, card packs opening up at certain days of the week, minigames with your partner, ect.

The last Tag Force game, Tag Force Special, didn't have any of those plus took away even more things like item collection and gift giving, no partnering with npc's in story mode so no story mode for them, in order to partner with npc's and non story characters you have to do it in free duel, free duel doesn't have all the options from the previous Tag Force games like changing starting Life Points, only 25 story characters to partner with in story mode, partners don't follow you around, no overworld to move around in at all. Seriously the amount to stuff that was taken out throughout the TF series is saddening.

Start from 1 and work your way up.

Actually, i was active during that era and most dragon ruler deck users insta an heroed when ophion hit the field.

He was pretty much immune to spell and traps, and the only other answers they had were in their extra deck monsters, which they couldn't summon.

Of course, it both boiled down to who had the first turn, if the DR deck user had it he could easily bring out that fucking airplane in the field and then you must have had a hand with all the answers to counter it.

And even if you had the first turn, it was not a guarantee that you would whip out ophion even if you had a deck centered around summoning and supporting him.

All in all, e-swarm was a hard counter to some of the cheesiest decks of their era.

The general consensus is that Arc-V episodes 7-52 are an orgasmic experience that approaches, or even exceeds, 5D's Dark Signer Arc, and then once Synchro Arc happens the entire show turns to shit, so shit that it takes up 8 slots out of 10 of the WORST rated anime on Japanese television, even beating out a show that had a 30 minute time slot airing nothing.
