Hunts are awful now, not even because of instancing. It's just impossible to get to the kill in time unless you either found the hunt yourself or happen to be in the same zone when it's found. You need 4000+ Allied Seals to get all the mount speed upgrades, but ARR A ranks are soloable and S ranks die in less than a minute so it's fucking impossible.

Outside of Yojimbo Kugane is probably the worst dungeon in SB, and Yojimbo only gets a pass because it's Yojimbo, the fight itself is boring. Don't know 3-4 weeks, depending on how much free time you have available. Even if its longer you won't miss anything, the expansion just came out a month ago and people are still adjusting.

It's not a race it's a ride. Trust me once you poopsock through all the content and you come to stop you'll just be standing around in Kugane/Reach and idle like the rest of the people. Try to enjoy it.

It's the hard mode for raids (Omega deltascape in this case), in the new content you can only have 1 book per week and one clear nets you 2 chests, first floor is for accessories, second floor is for arm/legs, third floor is for pants, fourth floor is for armor/weapon.

There is a content patch every 3-4 months. Each patch has a new primal trial and some dungeons. Even numbered patches have a new raid tier and new tomestones. Odd numbered patches are catchup and add a 24-man raid which allows you to get/upgrade gear that's on par with the most recent raid tier.

You can run unsynced at higher levels and it counts as clearing. The only advantage of syncing is that it increases the drop rate of certain kinds of loot in some dungeons.

But keep in mind that some stuff like roulettes (random dungeons/trials that you can get a bonus reward for once per day) can't be done unsynced. No 61+ content can be done unsynced either.
