Growing up, T3 was the least impactful next to 1 for me. I loved T2 far too much conpared to 3. It just felt better. I knew T4 wasn't the "best game" but i loved it very much for its design, visuals and over all aesthetics. Also best pop was back for real this time, and in coolest way possible.

I felt rather disgusted when so many, who weren't even looking forward to playing with any of the new characters, were so "hyped" for this game when there is barely anything new in it. It's understandable if you didn't like Tag mechanics but you shouldn't fellate Harada just because he removed them - that ain't much of an accomplishment. On top of that as an icing on the cake we have the bad netplay on PS4 and shittier customization (the one area that could have been easily improved on without pissing change resistant Tekken fans off).

If you want to look it positively precisely because they didn't change much at all most of the good stuff is still in the game so they didn't ruin the franchise either. But paying a full price (and Playstation Plus fees that you didn't have to pay for TTT2) for an inferior version of a game that already exists seems kinda shitty deal to me. And people who praise Harada for this game, well, I'm tempted to use the overused c-word.

I think fighting games in general shouldn't be played online much. It generally leads to a frustrating experience. I play fgs with friends and locals and the only time I've been disappointed was in Tag2.
With T7 especially it was the first time I've ever seen people new to fighting games to stop mashing random buttons and actually think about what to do next, because they were afraid of rage arts. I love it and hope this addiction stays in.

I played about 1,000 matches when I was in Korea last year, and I've put in about 200 hours since console release. Best Tekken since 5DR. It's so much fun. I'm going to play it for years.

she's one of the safest, poke heavy characters in the game. poke with df+1, db+4, b+2, 1,1(1,1,2 hit confirm) and f,f+4 all day. she has standard hopkick and delayed hopkick for big damage to punish sweeps for big damage. ending your combos with f+3~fly 3 gives great wake up mixup.

you'll only really use his stances in the middle of combos, so it's just a matter of memorising juggles like any other character. a good player will just hit you out of your stance transition moves because they're slow.

Tekken 7 is an unfinished game with 40 second load times for matches, no replays, no tutorials, limited customization, questionable netcode, horrible lobbies, poor matchmaking, stale legacy movement, and some arcane mechanics never discussed in the game.

Tekken 7 is not a good or finished product. Learning the game is an incredible waste of time and resources with little to gauge your progress or improve on in a way that respects your time.

Side stepping in EX is the same as it is in 3, PF is the game with the busted sidestep. they changed it for the us version for whatever reason.

Cronos is not even top tier, sure his Phoenix is strong, but his beast is garbage and anyone good can exploit this, also like all of his combos require multiple JF cancels.

The lack of tutorials is a huge negative for something as far along as the seventh instalment. How the fuck newcomers are meant to get into Tekken at this point, I don't know.

I wasn't aware that sidestepping was different between EX and PF. I only have experience with PF.

However, Chronos is most definitely broken. His mobility and meter gain in human form are ridiculous, and he's got great damage across the board. His normal beast is not great, but it has wonky hitboxes that cause him to fall out of a lot of stuff, despite being a lightweight character. His Phoenix makes BR3 Uranus looks fair, JF cancels or not.

Cronos is not even close to BR3 Uranus, BR3 Uranus is untouchable, literally untouchable.

His mobility is decent and his meter gain is so so he has that meter drain throw but it has poor range and is easy to tech, his human and penguin damage are pretty low, especially the penguin, the penguin also has the lowest defense in the game and any super that connects will instantly take him out of it and drain all of his meter. his human is also unsafe. His Phoenix is his saving grace but you only get like 10 seconds to do something with it and even if you win the round you go back to zero meter.

Characters like Jenny and Alice can do everything he can do in Phoenix but without having to use hyper. like i said hes a good character but he's not even top tier.
