From what I played at SDCC, it just feels very strange for both Modern and the OC. Both really suck at platforming because they have no air momentum unless you start running, and then they gain a lot.

Well trust me you're not the only one with mixed views but I wouldn't say it looks like a train wreck. It's literally just edgy Sonic Generations. That's really not THAT bad if you ask me knowing how well received that game.was back in 2010.

Will it be bad? That's up to the player. Personally I have no issue with the boost games and the story actually caught my attention. Forces will be quite a unique experience for Sonic fans.
