You know, tattoos have been around since mankind knew how to express itself and the tattoo itself represented something spiritual about the wearer or expressed the kind of aura the wearer wanted to emit. Me, I've wanted a large back piece of the Quake Q logo with cast of enemies surrounding the Q which is the slipgate that Ranger is walking through to face his next challenge. Quake was my first 3D game and the enemies in the first level used to scare the hell out of me until one time I prepared myself mentally ready to fucking destroy them. Every map I was too scared to progress because but I told myself I had to charge through the game like a soldier would.

Here's the thing about getting tattoos; it's generally a really fucking bad idea because the average person who is going to get a tattoo is generally going to make some really fucking bad decisions.

First of all, you should wait at least a year to get the tattoo so that you know for sure that you want it. Second, you should go to an experienced artist and get charged 150 dollars and hour for it. Style is going to be pretty subjective, but you should definitely confirm with other people whether or not it will look like shit; this should necessitate you to get some fucking preliminary drawings.

Most people just wander into the first tattoo place they find out about that doesn't have shit reviews and then spend 50 bucks on some cheap vaguely described piece of shit.
