Soulsbourne is literally roll and R1, the game. It's basically nothing but a rhythm game at that point.
In Nioh you actually have to judge and make the right calls when dealing with enemies and bosses. It really makes you think.

Nioh bored me to tears. I can at least go back and replay Bloodborne due to the cool designs, music and gothic/cthulian horror.

Nioh just feels too samey. The characters are boring except for Oda, the music sucks and the levels are incredibly repetitive.

No. As a Bloodborne worshiper, I can fully agree on everything except the DLC bit.

BB still suffers from characters that talk and don't move their lips, bad framerate in a lot of areas, and the actual character models look weird as fuck. Not the outfits, the characters themselves except maybe the Doll.

Bb had about a thousand times more hype behind it being another souls game which was veryin vogue at the time. I still remember the first beast souls/project beast webm leaks and how crazy 4Chan went. For a long time it was also the only ps4 game worth owning. Nioh released at the same time as nier automata and close to other big games like hzd, p5, gr2. Got significantly less media hype and attention and released in a more crowded time. Still very much a great game and in most aspects barring music, exploration and lore is a better game.

There did used to be framerate problems especially in multiplayer but those were addressed in patches. The frame pacing problem has never been fixed and judging from the fact DS3 also has the same frame pacing problems on PS4 I'm convinced From is completely unable to fix the problem.
