That link does verify...that there's nothing there. He's lying, as usual. What it does show is that there is a subscription associated with the depot, so were there anything there you could buy or use a key for it. However, there are no associated files. He's uploaded nothing. If you had a subscription to that depot, there would still be nothing to download.

Just goes to show how little effort it takes to fool the idiots who think this is happening.

It looks like a 256 color palette, I swear this game looks like fucking shit, the sprite work is terrible and the 3-4 frames of animation every creature has are not continuous so the jump all over the place. Not to mention the fact that every time you turn around the game fucks up and you get half of the old and half of the new screen. Anvil of Dawn had smooth transition animations, in 1995.

The thing is that the classes are boring, they do not have anything unique that tells them apart, other than you know, the titles.
Almost every skill is the same, hit X times, hit X times randomly, Hit X times until you get hit back.
You can change classes at any point, but as I said, it doesn't really matter at all if you do or not.
The miracle system is broken as fuck, if you get one skill in particular, you can pretty much beat most bosses with it without any struggle whatsoever.
And the way you can get special loot is also pretty retarded, I got a Large Katana +10 for my Samurai early on and he just snowballed from there.

Balance and pacing issues out the ass, broken (and not in a good way) mechanics, useless item shop, permadeath system means half your team is constantly in the infirmary, subclassing has to be done just right to be useful, bullshit bosses built around exploits (that the game intentionally prevents the player from using), so on and so forth.

NEO Scavenger is a solo game, no party, but it also has most of the stuff you mentioned. I'd love to see its systems applied to a game with a bigger dev team so it could be more like an RPG, but that's too much to ask. It's a miracle when a game like that gets made in the first place, seeing its potential fully realized is a pipe dream.
