As someone who got S rank in the first game I'm finding the sprinkler useless with the change to specials. In fact now I'm getting higher rank the games are turning into 'pick the weapon that allows you to throw most bombs that fastest.' If the weapon you like has a shit special gtfo because it's bombs, everytime all the time. It's starting to feel like the point where it feels like the weapons are just there to charge your specials up, that's what matters.

What rank are you? For Salmon run it starts at trainee or something like that, and then after that is part timer, go getter, overachiever and then profreshional. It's possible at some low level you won't get knocked down if you lose, I lost a lot at go getter and overachiever ranks.

This was the same with the first games story.

I have no idea why people praised that shit so much. It was 4 hours long, blatantly just a bunch of random blocks put together or currently in development multiplayer maps (fucking Kelp Dome was a single player stage before being added as a multiplayer map post-launch) with extremely formulaic design bosses with the sole exception of Octavio, and story delivered through extreme low effort cutscenes.

It was the very definition of tacked on, low effort single player, but I've seen so many people say it's amazing.

Not having voice chat would have been more appealing than the garbage they did. It went from "I wish they had voice chat" to "oh I just need a phone and stupid set up to voice chat." One was a disappointment but the other is fucking infuriating.

Now I find out the best mode in the game is locked because I "played too much"? I cannot even wrap my head around the logic of it. Saying "I don't want you to get sick of it" is so fucking stupid WHEN YOU ONLY LET ME PLAY TWO MAPS AT A TIME IN NORMAL MULTIPLAYER.
