There are only three types of people that play this game still:

One is the literal 12 year olds who are the same type that still play garrysmod and will play any modded gametype that isnt normal tf2 matches.

The other is nostalgia or just plain old normalfags who play the game more as a timewaster. They usually sit on community servers talking about their shitty lives.

Theres a very rare case of people who still play the game and are good at it but they tend to overlap with the 15+ crowd. The problem is that the community as a whole is kinda dogshit now so they get easy pubstar status and wont shut the fuck up about it.
