What went wrong?

the game is actually trash. I'm so disappointed.

It's boring. Feels much more linear than the previous title, lack of accessible buildings and trenches also does it too.

i was off by 10 minutes on the refund and im pretty mad. The game is boring as fuck. Red Orchestra i can have plenty of fun playing, but this is just bland .

Don't really know everyone on /v/ says it's awful but its actually fun. Also every rising storm/red orchestra game hits that level of players so I'm not surprised.

Day of Infamy is actually really good. It's basically the lovechild of insurgency and day of defeat.

Only issue I have with day of infamy is it has way too many different roles.

The radioman is a shittier rifleman, flamethrower is only good for close quarters obviously, support is a watered down machine gunner, etc.

It's good.
Also don't forget to play Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45, if you own RO:Ost. We really need more people.

The spirit of red orchesta just isn't there when eveyone has a semiautomatic rifle.

Originally they were going to make RS-like Western Front expansion to RO2, similar to HOTW mod. But I guess they couldn't monetize it that much, since most of core assets for Germans and Americans were already in the game.

Actually most of HOTW assets were made by Antimatter, since they were making battle recreations on RO2 engine for some WW2 documentary series about western front.
