Freemans Mind 2 has had a very rough start. Could just be 'yet to find its stride'? The problem is he's been hammering on the lack of motivation or investment for (his version of) Freeman, drawing attention to the railroading, which is going to be far more grating with HL2 than it was with the original, because of how comparatively unnatural the railroad in HL2 is (for most of the game there is no reason his cllimbing-enabled Freeman shouldn't be able to just walk off the track).

Does this have anything to do with Half-Life at all?

Holy shit if this is what Freeman's Mind has turned into I'm out of here, it's like a really bad Seth Rogen movie. The entire point of the series is that unless there's a giant monster or something surprises him Gordon's incredibly well-equipped to deal with any situation thrown at him and he's just going through the motions, thinking to himself about the situations that he's in. If this was Freeman's Mind 1 and this exact situation was here, besides the train coming at him, the two people under arrest and jumping on the train Gordon would probably be talking about everything to do with Kleiner, the design of the city, the force fields, ANYTHING besides holy shit people are firing at me

Favorite and Least Favorite episode?
My Favorite is Bip Bop II.
Least Favorite would have to be the one with that other guy who guest starred. He wasn't bad and seemed nice, but he just didn't have any chemistry whatsoever with Ross. Their review styles are incompatible.

I came for Freeman's Mind. I was not disappointed. I've seen a few episodes of Game Dungeon and Civil Protection, but there's nothing quite like Freeman's Mind, and that's why I keep watching it over anything else Ross does. If he's milking it for views, that's okay. It means more entertaining episodes of a series I enjoy.

I like single Game Dungeon episodes more than single FM episodes, and have rewatched most of early GD several times because it's so good.
But I like FM as a whole, it just it takes so long for every 5 minute episode, a short little snack, whereas GD you can sit back and relax for half an hour after work.
