I've played Fate Extra up till the alice servant final fight, before dropping it.

What's the appeal?
At first i thought the RPS system where you learn the pattern of the enemy was cool, and investigating the opponent was a nice way to make the game feel like Fate, but it quickly became stale.

Every fight is more or less the exact same, the opponent has way better stats than you do, so you have to either savescum or grind, even if you write down the patterns.

The dungeons are persona tier garbage, but unlike persona there is literally nothing else to do.

There isn't even much to enjoy from Fate characters/setting. You get hackerman shinji and chinese tohsaka and that's it?

This game sucks so fucking hard.

Definitive implies it's the one version that's the best, no questions asked.
