PC version has worked completely fine for me so far, apart from the horrible menus and the sometimes weird lighting and weird textures that only happen once in a blue moon.
Sometimes cutscene video will fuck up when they try to show footage of real stuff (nuclear bomb blast, historical events etc), but other than that, it's been great. I watch the cutscenes again on YouTube anyway.

You'd need a controller, the PC version accepts Xinput, which is great for me. For the second controller port however, I had to use keyboard controls which took some time.

Emulate it.
You may have to use an older version of the ePSXe, version 1.52, to get past the disc-swap section smoothly. At least the v1.7 had problems with it, but it's been a while.

Although, for the PC version, you need to run deamon tools and just run a random iso image of your pick. The game will think you've inserted the MGS disc into your pc, even if you use a disc image of your penis.
People who can't figure this out are retarded.

Niggas what are you doing, just use mednafen's psx core in retroarch, or download it standalone but i wouldnt recommend it since it has no gui.

Also enable the PGXP options, that way you get rid of the wobbly graphics especially if you upscale it.

PC version does not have warping polygon and texture, including proper texture filtering also I think.
Although, it does not have many post-processing effects and videos are fucked.
I finished and got a bad ending this version though. I plan to replay it again with emulated version but I'm too lazy.

I generally prefer the PC version, it just feels like it runs better. Though I would say a first time player should go for the PS1 version since it's more "faithful".
