Its not even as if the games themselves are all inherently bad just they are all so fucking bland and safe and boring. Its telling that since it became a category IRL is always near or around the top because its just people fucking around for an audience.

I guess I'll never understand the appeal of not wanting to actually interact with other players in an online competitive game. You win PUBG games by just avoiding people at all cost, then you shoot one and win. 20+ minutes of hiding in a bush, looking at inventory menus inside houses. Then doing it again and again and again.
