Witcher 3 is trash. Didn't even manage to get five hours in.
A great descendant is Pillars of Eternity. Spent over two hundred hours in that game.

You're damn right it's a stretch, you're fucking wrong first of all. Like most of todays RPGs Witcher 3 is actually just an action RPG where the combat is not that great to begin with, other RPGs did away with this issue by not having shitty action combat in hopes of engaging the player.

The multiple dialogue options have never been necessarily to acquire different results, it's so you can portray your own character, you fucking tard. Speaking of, the Witcher 3 does not even let you create your own character, you're Geralt and you are stuck as playing Geralt, limiting freedom and a great deal of what makes RPGs fun.

None of the classes in that game are useless, in fact, you can beat the game with any of them so long as you don't place your attributes like a fucking tard, going by the fact that you can barely even type a single post without misspelling something, I'm guessing you failed at that.

If the Witcher 3 is a descendant of the CRPG genre, then it's a deformed bastard child that holds little to no of the actual value of the original genre.

Yes, it is not a tabletop RPG, you cant make evil runs, cant create and manage your own party, but you still playing a role. You are geralt of rivia.
It's still better than fallout 4 or DA3.

I completed BG1 with a druid and a swashbuckler.
My point was that in every fucking guide/fun party/unusual party people used fighter mages and fighter-mage-rouges, not a single bard or stalker.
It was a fucking typo you fucking shit which would still make sense in german.

Absolutely useless as there are like 3 quests hidden in the wilderness and all of them take like 10 minutes top, even when going in blind.

Absolutely tedious and boring, the whole north, east and west part of the city are completely empty, you only go there for the main quest. In the whole of Novigrad there are like 5 unique NPCs worth talking to.

The literal only good ones where in the DLCs, those are actually pretty damn good, though.

I love W3, but it would have profited immensely by not hopping on the open world trash train.
