No.
If music puzzles are too simple you might as well not include them at all. But then you're forcing people to understand music theory or fuck around tinkling keys for 40 minutes.

Depends on what you mean. In Undertale you literally just have to copy 8 notes which are told to you. Really the puzzle in this scenario was finding the notes.

Playing a few notes on piano in Undertale was fine.
