postal movie was pretty true to the tone of the second game at least

I liked Castlevania quite a bit. It's incredibly annoying how /pol/ memes have slipped out and people take them seriously. 4chan used to be edgy athiest central.
I would say OP that it falls down to anime to adapt vidya correctly. I liked the Tales of Symphonia anime because it looks exactly like the game and abridged annoying parts in the story. My big issue was that it didn't ship Sheena and Lloyd.
I am also really suprised that we haven't seen TV anime based on each FF game.
Why does no one ever mention Professor Layton? Everything else is just guilty pleasure films whereas Professor Layton is able to stand on its own

Not him, but they really only suffered from a poor budget, they had the most authentic intentions of any vidya put to the big screen.

Goldeneye.
It counts, if you played the game before watching the movie.
Postal was perfect.

The film is complete shit but he's right.

Gungrave was great.
I like the first Tomb Raider movie.

I legitimately like the dead rising movies, but the first was better. They feel like dead rising. You can tell the director and writers actually played the game. I'm not going to call them good movies but they're good DR movies.
I liked the Ace Attorney movie. It managed to be different while still keeping the spirit of the games.

Who would you have cast as Ken?

Jason Stathan in a worse wig.
