I did for awhile, but I tried branching out into new genres and ended up giving myself new appreciation for games and what makes them fun.

Either you have other parts of your life to sort out or you just need to play better games.

If you feel its neccesary go ahead. I did a few sessions and it helped me air out some, but all the worst shit I pretty much had to confront on my own.

My big thing is controls and presentation. I'm likely to drop games for petty as fuck reasons nowadays. and also, typical western AAA mostly doesnt appeal at all. watch dogs, asscreed, bamham. especially multiplayer shooties. I feel really bad for the people who play that shit. Not because they secretly dont have fun, but because when you turn to games like that for fun they're gonna do their best to drain you dry of all your money, patience, and love.

I notice I play jap games almost exclusively these days.

Honestly I dont want to do anything lately, only games that i played and enjoyed in last 3 years were Deus ex and Spelunky. and to top it off the last 3 years of my life felt like 4 months.

I enjoy movies alot more now, probably since the last one i watched was American Hustle few years ago and it left a bad taste in my mouth to the point where i stopped watching movies ever since.
after a long ass break, movies are quite enjoyable now, maybe i should do the same with vidya.

I feels this way with new games. Im also playing oldies. Last gen old, im playing Dragon Age Origins right now and can't put it down. I can only do 1 to 2 hours on PS4 games unless its multiplayer

I was in that kind of slump right after High School. I spent a year and a half on my ass doing nothing, so playing Vidya 24/7 really drained me. When I ended up getting a full time job it started being fun again, breaking up the monotony that was work.

Now, of course, I don't have time for a gf. Maybe I'll quit my job to get one...

Stop right the fuck there. Work and free time will always be superior to having a gf. If you have the time for all 3, then by all means. Don't fall for the "hurr gf bad" meme here. If you want a girlfriend, that's completely fine, but don't quit your job over it, and don't give up your free time over it.

I have several games installed but I don't feel like playing any. The only game I can play right now is WoT but I don't feel fun plying it.

1. check Path of Exile news
2. check Steam new games
3. check Youtube new subscription videos and recommended videos
4. check Tumblr and Pixiv for new porn
4b. identify source of pictures saved and organise them <- [second most time spent in day]

5. Play a video game

if no games to play:

6. Watch a speedrun
if no runs to watch:
6b. watch a movie (very rarely)

if nothing to watch:

7. wander on 4chan: mainly /v/ (before was /b/) <- [main time spent in day]
7b. if nothing interesting on /v/, check /wsg/
7c. if nothing interesting on /wsg/, reroll youtube recommended videos or search for something

if nothing on 4chan, or while lurking on 4chan:

8. check Newgrounds for games
