I really wonder why people bother making threads like these. A perfect game is impossible to achieve. All games have flaws whether you want to admit it or not. Short of that, "most perfect" is a conceptual absurdity as something is either perfect or it is not. There is no more or less perfect, nor least or most perfect.

Original game wasn't designed for long leagues and only had a short campaign. The changes with skill learning and recruiting didn't fix any of the boredom and were really badly implemented too.

FFX is the most symbolic FF in part because it's the most Japanese FF. All of the characters in FFX are irrelevant to varying degrees, it's only what they represent that's important. That's why, for example, the Tidus/Yuna love story is important and competently executed even if their actual relationship is rather unrealistic and "anime-ey"

Yu Yevon represents our innermost insecurities and desire for safety/homeostasis, twisted so far as to turn destructive. All of us have a "Yu Yevon" inside of us that just wants to protect the things we love and for nothing to change. It's actually incredibly important that the actual Yu Yevon is a pathetic little bug, because it shows that the cycle of Sin and the Yevonite religion isn't just the product of one lelevilspacewhale, but that desire that exists within all of us. Everyone played a part in perpetuating the cycle, it wasn't just some horrible evil force that they were all passively forced to endure.

I admit that this type of villain is not everyone's cup of tea and yeah there are times that I just want to punch out Cthulhu and save the world, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's bad. /autisticrant

The only difference between this and Corridor Simulator 13 is that this has a decent battle system.
